Sources of Heart Healthy Omega-3s

Omega-3-fishWe know that the best source of omega-3 is fish but there are other food that contain this and one of them are the nuts. They are excellent sources of healthful fats and protein. Another is the olive oil which contains nonsaturated fats which increase our HDL or good cholesterol whose function is to clean our arteries in the body. Other sources are those foods which have flavonoids like red wine, tea, grapes, tomatoes, tomato juice, orange juice and onions.
