The unsuccessful negotiation between Walgreens and Express Scripts have led to their parting of ways. Now a lot of the customers using the Express Script program are upset over what happened! They are affected because a very good option for them to get their prescriptions filled has been been taken away. I am not talking about ordinary individuals and families relying on the network. Even the troops and their families are affected as well! How? Because the great offer Walgreens gave about matching the prescription costs of those under Tricare network, where the troops are under, is now no longer available for them. Walgreens is no longer part of the Express Script network as I’ve said.

But then there’s still the new Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens! Family membership and individual membership are being offered. The former is only for $10 a year while the latter is $5 a year. For the membership alone you get to save a lot! What more with the discounted prices of prescription products as well as some other benefits thrown into the membership.
